Okay, I’ve read several articles of late indicating that NONE of us get enough fiber to keep our systems chugging along smoothly. Evidentally, this hits the “girl’s” team even harder……I’d ask my mother but, she’d turn red and tell me that fiber (and it’s inevitable side effects) is NOT a lady-like topic……..ughhhh! It’s a “tar pit” thing.
Well, I eat a pretty clean diet (to the extent that a few friends think I eat paper towels – get it? No flavor, no carbs…..no fun) but don’t spend a lot of time analyzing my fiber content. Soooooo, I decided to look into something that I would actually enjoy integrating into my eating plan. Lo and behold, I ran across Fiber Coffee! Wow, now we are talking……I love my morning coffee (also crushin’ on my 3 pm latte….. to be fair) so I tried it. I admit that searching for a few of these exotic ingredients was pretty entertaining…..the guy at my local market just stared at me and then walked away…..
Here it is:
+ HOT directions: combine inulin powder & sukrin in coffee cup. stir, stir, stir! add cashew milk and stir, stir, stir! add coffee. stir & enjoy!
+ ICED directions: combine inulin powder, sukrin & cashew milk in coffee cup with ice. add coffee. stir, stir, stir & enjoy!
It IS tasty…..I put mine in the blender…..just made it creamier. Take a taste and let me know what you think.
