By now, I think anyone who follows me realizes that I am NOT Suzy Homemaker…..there, I said it. No judging please. Although I continue to make attempts to go into the “room of many counters”, I’m certainly NO threat to Martha!
That said, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE tricky things for my kitchen (or anywhere in the house really). I found this little bit of rocket science last week while doing research for another blog. I’d never seen it before….it’s soooooo sleek and “techy” looking and just looks great by your sink! It’s called RUB-AWAY.
It’s a French creation (they have ALL of the great stuff….and, look fabulous doing it….). It’s a stainless steel bar that magically removes those stinky smells from your hands after you chop garlic or prep fish! You can use it with or without soap – super convenient to take with you on those National Park trips when you eat something other than Twizzlers and Pringles…..
I’ve been using mine for a couple of weeks and it works! I’ve used it after placing my Salmon filets in a pan….used it after working with garlic…2 seconds of “washing” with this bar and the smell it gone. Wow! Where has this been? I’m thinking GREAT gift for my kitchen pals:)
Try it and let me know how it works,
