CHECKING IN ON YOUR SELF CARE THIS WEEK …

Okay, so the kids are FINALLY back in school…. I’m just stopping by to see how you are doing with scheduling some TLC now that you may have a couple of “free” hours.

If you follow our blog, you know we just talked about the importance of planning and scheduling time for yourself each week. You men too…..what do you have on calendar this week? What are you doing with your pocket of time?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Book a couple’s massage (talk about time management…..heehee)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Take a long, hot bath with bubbles and Champagne (or sparkling water)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Get one appointment out of the way that you’ve been putting off.….you know who you are!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sign up for a class and learn a new skill.….⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have an expensive lunch.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Swim….or frolick at the beach.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sit still and do nothing….or read you latest book (If you’re anything like me….it’s been on my night table for two months!)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Parents who are always putting the kids first (ok, all parents)… you are on the front line…take this time to recharge…
Pick one day a week and make it “self care” day….don’t feel guilty….enjoy!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Be consistent…it’s important! And, don’t forget date night.
