EVERYDAY LIVING

Quarantine Love Language Brownies….

Last week while chatting with a pal in LA, the topic of the “Freshman/Quarantine 15” came up. I don’t think anyone anywhere is escaping those endless trips (read: cardio) to the kitchen in search of some treat that will lessen the effects of social isolation. My hand is up!

So, today I’m sharing these UNHEALTHY but irresistible chocolate brownie treats with you…..the small sliver in the photo above was all that remained of the 13 x 9″ baking dish of goodies……

QUARANTINE CHOCOLATE THERAPY:

2 sticks of softened butter (1 Cup) I use salted but you can use unsalted if you like.

2 C Sugar

4 Eggs

12 T Hershey’s Cocoa Powder

1/4 C Oil (I use Avocado but, you can use vegetable)

1 3/4 C Flour

Beat all until smooth and spread evenly into buttered 9 x 13″ baking pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes…..

Hopefully, you can cool these for 10 minutes before serving……burned tongue here ….. just being fully transparent……
