100% Protein Egg-White Bread

This recipe is easy and is almost 100% protein AND, it tastes like good old Wonder Bread (do you remember that stuff?)

Ingredients

  • 12 large egg whites
  • 1 C Unflavored egg white protein powder

Instructions

  • Whip egg whites in mixer until very stiff peaks form, approximately 10 minutes. Gently fold in protein powder with spatula. Scrape dough into sprayed (Pam) loaf pan.
    Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown, about 40-45 minutes.
    Let cool fully (if you cut too soon it will collapse). Cut into 14 slices.

Notes

Cals:  40 / Protein: 9 grams / Carbs: 5 grams per slice.
Store in airtight container in fridge for up to a week.
