100% Protein Egg-White Bread
This recipe is easy and is almost 100% protein AND, it tastes like good old Wonder Bread (do you remember that stuff?)
Servings 14 slices
- 12 large egg whites
- 1 C Unflavored egg white protein powder
- Whip egg whites in mixer until very stiff peaks form, approximately 10 minutes. Gently fold in protein powder with spatula. Scrape dough into sprayed (Pam) loaf pan.Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown, about 40-45 minutes.Let cool fully (if you cut too soon it will collapse). Cut into 14 slices.
Cals: 40 / Protein: 9 grams / Carbs: 5 grams per slice. Store in airtight container in fridge for up to a week.
