SHAKE, RATTLE & BOWL…

 

Okay, as usual, I’ve eaten most of my “IG Project” before I realize I’ve not taken the pic yet.  Ughhh.

Does anyone out there have a support group for this??  DM me, seriously.

Anyway…I’m sure you’ve heard me rant about getting enough protein and fiber.  Why is this so darned important?  Well, you cannot build muscle (crucial for those of us who actually want to walk on our own as we approach 100).  I think we should:

  • Prioritize Protein
  • Add FIBER
  • Sparingly add Carbs (the ones that give us energy)!

The very best carbs are those that include fiber.  Fiber will help regulate blood sugar, aid digestion, squash cravings, and keep you full!  Fiber is the wonder drug for your gut.  You will feel so.much.better. getting more of it.  Happy Gut = Happy Human.

Wait for it…

Here she is…a super easy, protein AND fiber-packed bowl that will keep you full and going for HOURS.

3 T Chia Seeds

3.5 oz Almond Milk

Mix together until thoroughly blended.  Place in fridge for at least an hour or overnight.

When ready to eat, add in:

2 scoops T_Factor 20/20 Chocolate Protein Fiber Powder

1 scoop Collagen

1 T Nut Butter (your choice)

Twirl it around until its combined.  Add berries if you happen to have them.
