It’s running amok and everyone is happy to ride along!
Its the newest wave of flavored-water diets. It seemed to spring up on Tik Tok” first. Then the avalanche of recipes and ideas turned it into a viral hit.
Those of us that are a bit more “experienced” (certainly NOT “older”) tend to lose more of our ability to retain hydration. The cells simply become “leaky”. It becomes more difficult to maintain good level of hydration. Not to worry. This new trend keeps people sipping all.day.long. AND, they’re losing weight too. Another benefit of water intake is that it helps your food move more slowly through your body. You stay full longer and up your hydration level!
These are super helpful if you’ve made the decision to kick the diet soda habit.
ORANGE, MANDARIN ORGANGES AND MINT
1 Med Nectarines, sliced
6 fresh mint leaves
1 mandarin orange, sliced
2 quarts water
Combine all ingredients in a large glass pitcher, cover and refrigerate 12-24 hours.
PINA COLADA SUGAR FREE WATER
2 pumps Coconut syrup (sugar free)
1 vial Pineapple
blend and enjoy with ice!
