Remember when bath time was something you resisted?
Kinda like those enforced bed times, right?
Well, if you’re like me these days, you cannot wait to sink into a nice steamy bath. And, I just cannot wait to lie down…..
There really is a reason for this…..
I did a blog yesterday on the numerous types of Magnesium available and what a few of my personal favorites were and why I used them. I had quite a few questions about adding magnesium to your diet in other ways.
Try a hot magnesium bath after a good workout. Or, a magnesium bath with lavender oil to send you off to sleepy land. Add a little bowl of magnesium flakes in the shower and use as a scrub. Fresh eucalyptus under the shower head and feel like you’re in a spa!
There are some pretty great bennies to using magnesium in water.
A warm bath will open your pores and allow your body to absorb magnesium and sulfate ions through your skin.
Provides support for bone health and calcium absorption.
Relieves arthritis pain.
Reduces swelling.
Reduces pain from fibromyalgia.
Helps with insomnia.
Reduces itching and redness from Psoriasis.
Helps muscles recover after a great workout.
Helps with PMS pain.
Lowers anxiety levels.
Do you currently use Epsom Salts in your bath? What made you try it?
