I LOVE: EATING REAL FOOD, TRAVEL, SKIING, GOLFING, READING, DOWN-TIME, AND CHAMPAGNE.

MISSION: SHARING MY LOVE OF GREAT FOOD, STAYING ACTIVE & LIVING WELL.  I AM COMMITTED TO HELPING OTHER PRO-AGERS OVER 50 WHO STRUGGLE WITH WEIGHT & FOOD-RELATED ISSUES.

And, here’s the thing.

You don't have to feel awful.

We are not the "over 60's" of our parents era.

We are healthier and more active.  And, we know that our hormones are in the driver's seat when it comes to maintaining a healthy weight.

Eating foods that help us keep our hormones on track are fresh & simple.  And, I'm here to help you every step of the way.

It IS possible to heal your health issues (or gut/digestive or stiff joints) by tweaking your foods and movement.

You CAN take control.

I'm here to help.

My background is Marketing & PR (also a serial entrepreneur) and, after a couple of decades in that fast-paced industry, I began to notice that I wasn't handling the late-night dining and traveling as well as I once had...I wasn't performing at a peak level.  My energy was on a downhill slide.  A few pounds had crept on.

During an annual physical this year my physician shared that more than 80% of her patients over 50 take 3 or more medications!  Most of their issues could be addressed with diet and exercise....I did not want to go down that road!

I began to see friends become lethargic, overweight and sick.  Joint replacements were the rule rather than the exception.

I made a decision.

Take back my health, fitness and energy. I was obsessed with learning more about how food impacts my ability to remain super active and lean.  I've always had an interest in Nutrition and decided to enroll at Cornell University for training in Science-based Nutrition and Healthy Living. Along the way,  Plant-Based eating and addressing the needs of those with challenging digestive issues was added.  Then, the Mind, Body, Green digestive dysbiosis program captured my attention.

I completed my studies and began to implement what I had learned about plant-based foods, hormone health, gut biome & digestion.  My energy level shot up - those unhealthy pounds started to fall off.

I was challenging old aging bias with bio-hacking.  It's NOT "getting older", it's using our food / movement to heal.

I didn't grow up with health issues...

But, I did grow up with an excellent example of staying active and eating well.  My parents were in constant motion.  Never sick.  Didn’t take medications.  So, the one thing I have learned, is that we can chose to be healthy and strong every.single.day. It’s so simple. It’s a choice.  I have always been athletic and continue to golf, ski and run every chance I get.  But, I do notice that making small changes to my diet has helped me remain injury-free and lean.

ALTHOUGH ALWAYS ATHLETIC, I MADE A COMMITMENT TO LONG-TERM HEALTHY LIVING.

I know that we are NOT destined to suffer with some of the challenges our parents/friends have faced.  We don’t necessarily have to plan on “replacements” and “injections”.  We can  be stronger and have endless energy as we age.  We can, to a certain extent, slow down Sarcopenia (the steady loss of muscle once we hit 30…..and beyond).

It's a choice. And only YOU can make it.

I am here to help every step of the way.

I know many of us are partners, parents, "sandwiches" (caring for parents) and Nanas. But, in order to care for others, you MUST care for yourself!

YOU can live longer and healthier, have great energy every day, eat fresh food (and, wine), keep learning and move A LOT more…CHOOSE healthy. CHOOSE strong.  CHOOSE to age and live well.  CHOOSE YOU!

The curriculum is a scientific deep dive into gut, brain, heart, and hormone health, in addition to the interconnectedness of the body’s dysfunctions and healing potential.
